As the whole world and his dog descend on London for the Olympics, Tate Britain will exhibit the photographic gems of a previous generation of visitors to the capital. Bill Brandt, Henri-Cartier Bresson, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, Dora Maar and Irving Penn are among the big-name photographers to feature, courtesy of visits or stays in London between 1930-1960 (July 31-Sept 16).
